ISO9001:2008

Quality definition in health sector; it is the ability to meet the health service total requirements of the ones who apply to the centers for the solution of their health problems or the ones who will have in the future, at the same time, according to the information known today, carrying the health service level of the people or the community to the requested health results.

Through targeting the participation of new locations in the system in each year, 4 new centers have been included in the system in years 2007 and 2008. As of April 2008, we have gained the right to have ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System certificate in Radiotherapy services in the Radiation Oncology department of our Medical Park Bahçelievler Branch.

Furthermore, through service purchase tender, we have once again documented our service quality in Kartal Koşuyolu Cardiac Training hospital in which we have the operation of Nuclear Medicine department.

In our organization, the ISO 9001 quality assurance model has been configured through considering the contribution and impacts of clinic, substructure and support/administrative services in the quality.

Due to ISO 9001 model, the procedures that will orient the implementation of all medical and technical functions should be documented, the certain phases of the implementations should be regularly and systematically controlled, the problems and deficiencies should be determined and solved. This implementation has given our management model a reform quality through developing the analytic and synthesis execution ability.

ISO 9001:2008 quality management system substructure is used over e-isoft Quality management system database that has been formed in an electronic media at all branch and head offices. All documentation substructure, process analysis and performance measurements, corrective and preventive activities and internal audits are conducted over this system.
