MNT was established in 1990 to provide nuclear medicine services. MNT is dedicated to adapt new technologies and to play a leading role in the field of nuclear medicine.

MNT offers nuclear medicine services in a wide spectrum of locations including private hospitals, state hospitals,university hospitals and stand alone imaging centers or specialty hospitals.

MNT offers “turnkey nuclear medicine departments” providing the equipment, personnel and radiopharmaceutical. MNT, with its vast knowledge and experience in the field, also provides consultancy, feasibility studies, design and training services

MNT is the first entity that implemented Positron Emission Tomography (PET). The first PET study in Turkey was performed in 2000 in the Nuclear Medicine Department of the International Hospital which was a MNT operated department.

As of April 2006, MNT obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certificate on Nuclear Medicine Services.

In Turkey, there are 11 centers that have succeeded to be accredited by UEMS/EANM, which is an official body that provides the accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Centers in Europe, and the operation of all these centers is conducted by MNT.
