MNT FINDIKZADE BRANCH HAS ACCREDITATION CERTIFICATE OF EUROPEAN NUCLEAR MEDICINE ASSOCIATION.

At our MNT Fındıkzade branch that we offer service as of year 1990, there are two gamma cameras with SPECT feature and thyroid uptake devices. With these devices, all kinds of Nuclear medicine examinations (scintigraphies), thyroid uptake measurement and thyroid fine nodule aspiration biopsy are performed at our branches. Furthermore, with I-131, the hyperthyroid treatment (radioactive iodine) practices are also performed successfully. Targeting to continuously improve the service quality, our branch’s appropriateness to the quality standards of our head office has been evaluated and in April 2006, has been accredited by BV and gained the right to have ISO 9001:2000 certificate. At our Fındıkzade branch, in addition to the nuclear medicine services, we have medical test laboratories that perform (bio-chemical analysis; hormones; pathology-cytology; hematology; tumor determinants; medicine and toxicology; immunology-serogy-rheumatology; all urinary, fecal and semen analysis; check up programs; protective doctor practices (flu vaccine, hepatitis B); bacteriology & microbiology; Elisa tests).

Issues that you should know for all nuclear medicine examinations

• If you are pregnant or doubt of pregnancy, then please inform us before any procedure
  
• If you are nursing, then please notify us.
  
• In terms of examination preparations, please obey to the warnings to be made by the personnel for accurate and adequate examinations.
  
• The radioactive medicines used in Nuclear Medicine practices are very reliable, they have no allergic and toxic impacts. They can have adverse affects that are not serious and rare. Please inform us in case if you have any complaint.
  
• Please be at our institution at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
  
• Bring with you related information and reports related to your current illness. The film and reports taken from you will be returned to you together with the results of the examination.
  
• Many examinations are conducted at our branch and the waiting time and type of each patient differ according to the examination. The feedbacks about the waiting times will be submitted to you by our reception personnel.
